What is SC-ASCD?

SC-ASCD is the South Carolina affiliate of ASCD (formerly the Association for Supervision and Curriculum Development), which has 68 affiliates in the 50 states and several foreign nations.  Like its parent organization, SC-ASCD is a nonprofit, nonpartisan organization with a primary mission of improving the teaching and learning of all students.  SC-ASCD accomplishes its mission by influencing educational research, policy, and practice in curriculum and instruction.

Who Joins SC-ASCD?

Membership Dues

Individual memberships are $35 annually, except for students, who pay $10

Institutional memberships are $75 annually and entitle schools or districts to three individual memberships or three undesignated membership slots which may be rotated among employees for conference registrations.  A school or district may purchase as many institutional memberships as needed.

Direct Payment to SC-ASCD

Individual, student, and institutional memberships run one year from the anniversary date of payment.  Please use the attached form to renew or to join as a new member or institution.

Joint Payment With ASCD

You may pay your individual SC-ASCD membership of $35 simultaneously when you join international ASCD.  Again, your SC-ASCD renewal date is one year from the anniversary date of payment.
