As a school leader, can you tell the difference between quality formative assessment and just another test? Most instructional leaders do not know the difference, therefore cannot assist their teachers in making sure assessment is appropriate for the content and level of the learner. Assessment is an integral component of instruction and thus should be monitored and reviewed often. This session will empower you as an educator to look at assessment and gauge the value and effectiveness of it.
